Three infants, who range in age between 4 months and 15 months, have been found to have abnormal premature pubescent developments, and all three allegedly drank the same type of powdered milk formula. The babies have the same amount of estradiol (which is a female sex hormone) in their bodies as an adult woman should have, and also have elevated levels of a hormone known as lactogen, according to Beijing's Health Times. Synutra International Inc., the manufacturing company, has denied all claims. “We are completely confident that our products are safe and our quality levels are industry-leading,” the CEO told Bloomberg.
