Kraft Tries to Woo Adults With Grown-Up Mac & Cheese

Kraft would like the moms and dads of America to know that the gooey good stuff isn't just for kids anymore. In an attempt to bring mac & cheese from the kids' table to the family dinner table, it's launched Homestyle Macaroni & Cheese, an 18-months-in-the-making product that it hopes will woo Americans who think the blue box is for toddlers and tweens, but happily order fancier, homier versions of the dish at restaurants. The $2.99 mac and cheese comes in a bag; features wider noodles, a cheesier sauce, and breadcrumbs; and is baked in the oven, notes the Chicago Tribune.
