Levi Stumps at Gun Shop

(Newser) – Good ol' Alaska boy Levi Johnston launched his campaign for mayor of Wasilla totin' a rifle in a gun shop. Bristol Palin's babydaddy cavorted with customers at his fave trigger store, Chimo Gun, and apparently flirted with buying a $2,000 Weatherby Ultra Lightweight hunting rifle—but left empty-handed. The demands of his campaign and reality show haven't left the wanna-be mayor any time lately to indulge in his favorite sport, bagging Dall sheep, notes TMZ. Let's hope he shoots blanks when he gets back in the field.

Glenn Beck taken seriously? Meg Whitman running for Gov of CA? Levi Johnston running for mayor? Hmmm.. I think I've stumbled into a parallel universe where every day is "Opposite Day."
