(Newser) – On Day 2 of the Jimmy Carter rescue mission to North Korea, there is still no sign that jailed American Aijalon Gomes will be freed ... and no sign of Kim Jong-Il, for that matter. The Dear Leader reportedly took a jaunt to China with his son. Teachers in a northeastern province told the AP he visited their school this morning. It's unclear if he'll return in time to meet with Carter, who was originally scheduled to leave today but appears to have extended his trip.

I think they're reading too much into Kim Jong-Il's visit to China. Maybe he just needed a shitty toaster or an exploding gas BBQ. Hey Kim don't fall for the extended warranty rip-off..... it's not real !!!!
