Craigslist has put its "adult services" section off limits. The option has been replaced by the word "censored," CNN reports. No word yet from Craigslist itself on whether the move is permanent or whether the word will eventually link to an adults-only section. It affects only US sites. Craigslist has come under heavy criticism for providing an easy front to prostitution. (Or worse, click here for one example.)

All of which is a load of garbage as far as Michael Arrington is concerned at TechCrunch. "The fact that eBay and others do exactly the same thing, but without human review and moderation, doesn’t seem to matter. Craigslist Sex is what scares the general population, and it’s what the press and the politicians will continue to use to get their hits and votes." (More Craigslist stories.)
