(NEWSER) - Britain is in an uproar over the news that a photograph of the dying Princess Diana will be shown Friday in a documentary debuting at the Cannes Film Festival. The paparazzi photo, taken moments after her fatal 1997 crash, shows her hair and features clearly. It is included in the film Unlawful Killing by Keith Allen, father of singer Lily Allen, the Daily Mail reports. He has described the film as being about "not about a conspiracy before the crash, but a conspiracy after the crash." More»

Dodi's dad gets $6,000 for privacy breach

(NEWSER) - A British photographer has been ordered to pay damages for snapping shots of Princess Diana kissing boyfriend Dodi Fayed. A Paris court levied $6,000 in fines and $8,000 in damages to be paid to Dodi's dad, Mohamed Al Fayed, owner of the yacht where the the two were photographed canoodling just days before they died in a Paris car crash in 1997. A French newspaper must pay the same amount for breaking privacy laws. More»
