Hunter Moore, 26, admitted to Nightline that he started the site, called IsAnyoneUp.com, which he designed as a place for "public humiliation" where users could upload sexually explicit photos of others without their permission. (NEWSER) - British Prime Minister David Cameron is considering a move forcing Internet service providers to block all porn unless users specifically request it, the Guardian reports, in a move likely to be vigorously opposed by the ISPs, free speech groups, and teenagers sneaking onto their parents' computers. Cameron will consult on the options for filtering out porn in the coming weeks. The push comes following a parliamentary inquiry into the harmful effects of online pornography on children. More»

Plans to seize ships, attack Europe in memory chips that included raunchy vid

(NEWSER) - Extensive al-Qaeda terror plots were discovered embedded in a very un-Islamic spot: a porn movie. Plans for seizing cruise ships and European attacks similar to the assault on Mumbai were among the plots found on a digital storage device and memory cards that included a porn video called Kick Ass and a file labeled Sexy Tanja, reports CNN . They were part of a trove discovered hidden in the underwear of an Austrian terror suspect busted last year by German police, according to officials. (NEWSER) - Think pornography is popular online? One tech site estimates that 30% of all Internet traffic involves porn, with the world's biggest porno site trumping traffic on CNN or ESPN three times over, the New York Daily News reports. That site, Xvideos, draws 4.4 billion page views monthly—which means enormous traffic when you consider that viewers on porn sites stay an average of 15 to 20 minutes.
