(NEWSER) - As the first female CEO of Masters sponsor IBM, Virginia Rometty's name has surfaced over and over this week in arguments about Augusta National Golf Club's policy against admitting women. And while she still hasn't discussed the issue publicly, Rometty will attend the tournament, likely adding more fuel to a debate that even President Obama and Mitt Romney have chimed in on. President Obama "believes women should be admitted," says press secretary Jay Carney. It's "up to the club to decide," but Obama's "personal opinion is that women should be admitted to the club." Golfer died of asphyxia, OD'd on prescription meds

(NEWSER) - Nevada police have ruled the death of LPGA golfer Erica Blasberg a suicide, but are also charging her doctor with obstruction of justice. Dr. Thomas Hess found Blasberg's dead body in her Las Vegas home on May 9 and allegedly removed items from the crime scene before police arrived, then refused to cooperate with the police investigation, Golf Fanhouse reports.
