Website set up for donations
(NEWSER) - Sarah Burke's family has more than grief to deal with after her tragic death : The skier racked up more than half a million dollars in medical bills after her accident, CTV reports. The family has set up a website seeking donations to help—so far they've raised almost $125,000. It's unclear whether Burke had insurance to cover the kind of accident she suffered; the Canadian Freestyle Ski Association provided coverage for her, but only in CFSA-sanctioned events.
