Boston moved into seventh in East as Thomas shutouts Ottawa
(NEWSER) - The Boston Bruins and the Ottawa Senators are teams going in opposite directions as the NHL playoffs approach, as the Bruins beat the Senators 4-0 this afternoon to move into seventh place in the East, reports the Associated Press. The Senators, meanwhile, have only won once in five games to drop into fifth. Tim Thomas led the way for the Bruins with 34 saves for his third shutout of the season. More»
