Plenty of changes beneath the No. 5 position this week

(NEWSER) - UCLA, with quality wins against Maryland and Michigan State last week, grabbed the top spot in the ESPN/USA Today coaches' poll today, reports the Los Angeles Times, while North Carolina retained the No. 1 rank from the AP. (NEWSER) - Sophomore Wayne Ellington scored 24 points on 10-of-13 shooting as North Carolina defeated Clemson for the third time this season, 86-81, to win the ACC championship. Arkansas shocks No. 4 Tennessee, Georgia wins twice in one day

(NEWSER) - No. 5 Kansas knew it would need a big Rush to beat Texas A&M today, and luckily for the Jayhawks, they had it. Brandon Rush scored a career-high 28 points to lead Kansas to a 77-71 win in the Big 12 semifinals, reports the Kansas City Star. The Jayhawks will play Texas in the conference final today.
