(NEWSER) - Brian Bannister allowed two singles in eight innings and Kansas City beat Baltimore 4-0 Sunday to end its 12-game skid against the Orioles. Bannister struck out five and walked two to end a personal four-game losing streak. He did not allow a runner to reach second. (NEWSER) - Emil Brown singled home the winning run in the 10th inning, and the Oakland Athletics beat the Baltimore Orioles 2-1 last night. With two outs, Daric Barton singled against Jim Johnson (0-1), and Frank Thomas followed with a walk to set up Brown's third hit of the game.
