Jose Theodore stopped 24 of 25 shots and the Colorado Avalanche used a three-goal first-period to rout the Minnesota Wild 5-1 on Tuesday night, tying their first-round playoff series at two games each. (NEWSER) - Wojtek Wolski and Joe Sakic scored shootout goals for Colorado as they beat the Minnesota Wild 4-3 today, setting up a first-round playoff matchup between the teams. Sakic tipped in a shot by Ruslan Salei from the point midway through the first overtime period, his eighth career playoff goal in extra time, to send the Colorado Avalanche past the Minnesota Wild 3-2 on Wednesday night.
