Giguere stops 28 shots as Anaheim continues dominance of LA

(NEWSER) - Teemu Selanne scored two goals, including the game-winner with 13:32 to play, and the Anaheim Ducks beat the Los Angeles Kings 4-3 last night. Selanne fired a wrist shot from the left circle past Kings goalie Dan Cloutier to break a 3-3 tie. Joe DiPenta and Ryan Getzlaf also scored and Jean-Sebastien Giguere stopped 28 shots for the Ducks, who won six of eight against their rivals this season. More»

(NEWSER) - This year's NHL Hall of Fame class is a stellar one, TSN reports. All three forwards inducted—Brett Hull, Steve Yzerman, and Luc Robitaille—are among the top 10 scorers in pro hockey history. Brian Leetch, meanwhile, was a two-time winner of the Norris Trophy, awarded to the league’s top defenseman. Pavelski goal in OT extends series to sixth game

(NEWSER) - The Sharks just won't go away _ and now they're going back to Dallas. Joe Pavelski scored 65 seconds into overtime and San Jose evaded playoff elimination for the second straight game Friday, improbably rallying from a late two-goal deficit to beat Dallas 3-2 in Game 5.
