Phillies' three home runs help beat the Braves, 5-0

(NEWSER) - Cole Hamels pitched his first career shutout, Ryan Howard homered and the Philadelphia Phillies beat the Atlanta Braves 5-0 last night. Pedro Feliz and Shane Victorino also homered and drove in two runs each for Philly, who lead the majors with 59 homers. Molina singles in go-ahead run in the 10th inning

(NEWSER) - Bengie Molina singled in the go-ahead run in the 10th inning to lift the San Francisco Giants to a 3-2 victory over the Philadelphia Phillies last night. Chase Utley hit his major league-leading 13th homer and Geoff Jenkins had a solo shot for the Phillies. Fred Lewis had a solo homer for the Giants, who already are 7 1/2 games behind Arizona in the NL West. More»
