Hendrickson pitched seven strong innings, while Cantu produced three hits and two RBIs as Florida beat Washington 4-3 tonight to stretch the Nationals' losing streak to seven games. Slugger beats Pirates with homer for second straight day

(NEWSER) - Mike Jacobs hit his first career grand slam to lead the Florida Marlins to a 7-3 win over the Pittsburgh Pirates last night. Jacobs' 417-foot blast to right-center off starter Paul Maholm gave the Marlins a 5-1 lead in the fifth. Jacobs' walk-off home run in the bottom of the ninth beat the Pirates on Friday.
