(NEWSER) - Maybe he should just refuse coffee to politicians. Starbucks CEO Howard Schultz is pleading to other corporate execs to stop contributing to political campaigns until the president and Congress come up with a realistic way to cut budget deficits, reports Politico . “This is a time for citizenship, not partisanship," he wrote. “We just believe that in this moment of great uncertainty, the government needs discipline, the people need jobs—and leaders need to lead.” More»

(NEWSER) - Delta Airlines has decided to pull its ads from the Daily Show, prompting a round of gloating from the Catholic League, BuzzFeed reports. Spirit Airlines to Charge $100 for Carry-Ons

(NEWSER) - Now that other airlines are jumping on the fees-for-carry-ons band wagon, Spirit Airlines wants you to be sure and remember that they were the first . The airline is jacking up its carry-on fees, which will now range from between $20 a bag all the way up to an eye-popping $100, the South Florida Sun-Sentinel reports. The cheaper rates are for fliers who pay the fee online; wait until you get to the gate, and it'll cost you c-note. More»

Starbucks Is Coming to Disneyland

Cafes will open in California, Florida theme parks

(AP) - Starbucks is about to perk up "the happiest place on Earth." The Seattle-based coffee chain is today announcing a partnership to open a store inside each of the six Disney properties in California and Florida. The first will open this summer at Disneyland California Adventure in Anaheim. The other locations will be at the nearby Disneyland Park and at the parks in Orlando, Fla.: Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, and Epcot. Starbucks opened a store in Disney Village at Disneyland Paris in June 2009, but this is the first time the coffee chain will have a store inside the theme park. More»
