Genesis, Hollies, Jimmy Cliff also gets the call

(NEWSER) - The Stooges, Genesis, and ABBA will head next year’s class of Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees, along with the Hollies and Jimmy Cliff. The ceremony will be March 15, with all the inductees invited to perform, though some, particularly ABBA, may be tough to bring together, notes Rolling Stone . 'This is just the beginning, says creator

(NEWSER) - The wildly popular virtual Tupac that debuted at Coachella is ready to hit the road. Representatives for Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg are discussing plans for a concert tour involving the rappers and Tupac, sources tell the Wall Street Journal . A tour might only include the trio, or could involve other rappers like Eminem, 50 Cent, and Wiz Khalifa performing in larger stadiums. "This is just the beginning," said Ed Ulbrich, chief creative officer of Digital Domain, the company that brought the late singer back to life on stage. "Dre has a massive vision for this." More»

(NEWSER) - Courtney Love had quite the night on Sunday, first ranting against a fan who held up a picture of Kurt Cobain before storming off stage, only to return and flash the audience. Afterward, she explained the diatribe (which you can watch in full in the gallery—it’s definitely NSFW), the Huffington Post reports. “Somebody holds up a Kurt T-shirt.
