(NEWSER) - US stocks fell today for a third consecutive day as fears of recession continued to spread, MarketWatch reports. With Ambac’s revival uncertain and Countrywide facing a possible securities fraud probe, shares of both financial giants plummeted, pressuring the overall market downward.
