(NEWSER) - Tom Cruise promotes his upcoming musical Rock of Ages in the latest issue of Playboy , but not surprisingly, the movie talk isn’t getting quite as much attention as the quotes about Cruise’s personal life. Some highlights:

• On plastic surgery: "I haven't [gotten any], and I never would."
• On his PR nightmare: Asked what he learned from his controversial interview with Matt Lauer (in which he disparaged psychiatry and prescription drugs for post-partum depression) and his Oprah couch fiasco, Cruise replied, “When I go back and look at it, I find myself thinking, I don’t feel that way. I get how it came across, but I don’t feel that way, and I never have. Telling people how to live their lives? I saw how that came across and how pieces were edited.”

'Hopefully I'll have just come from the Oscars,' she tells Matt Lauer

(NEWSER) - Apparently both Lindsay Lohan's hair color and her Today interview answers come out of a can. LiLo's full sit-down with Matt Lauer aired this morning, and her comeback attempt swings into full gear this weekend when she hosts Saturday Night Live. Vulture notes that Lauer "went easy" on Lohan and, in response, her answers were "mostly coached," but at least she acknowledges that no one is going to hire her until she shows she can keep her "can't say the word but … stuff together." LA's John & Ken called her a 'crack ho'

(NEWSER) - Dissing Whitney Houston has earned Los Angeles radio hosts John Kobylt and Ken Chiampou a week-and-a-half in the penalty box. KFI suspended the popular duo after they poked fun at Houston's drug problems. "At some point you're just sick of it all, and so is everybody else in the industry," they said. "It's like, 'Ah Jesus, here comes the crack ho again, what's she gonna do?'" John and Ken apologized for using "inappropriate language." More»

Take your pick: Bear, Moroccan, or Zuzu

(NEWSER) - Celebrities tend to choose some very, er, interesting names for their offspring, but this year two names stood out: Bear Blu Jarecki, born to Alicia Silverstone, and Moroccan Cannon, born to Mariah Carey. Those two tied for the worst celebrity baby boy names of 2011 on a new BabyNames.com poll, ABC News reports. The worst baby girl name "award" went to Zuzu Audrey Peterson, daughter of a former Top Chef Just Desserts contestant. Poll respondents also didn't like the name Mirabella Bunny, daughter to Bryan Adams, or Kevin James' choice for his son, Kannon. More»
