(NEWSER) - A former student is suing a Boston-area college for $150,000 because, she says, it was inflexible about her housing situation—which involved a roommate who was too sexual. Lindsay Blankmeyer's senior-year roommate had sex with her boyfriend just feet from Blankmeyer as she tried to sleep, Blankmeyer says. Lawsuit: Basketball errors were punished with belt

(NEWSER) - Three Jackson, Miss., high school students who say they were whipped with a weightlifting belt for "failing to run basketball plays correctly" are taking their coach to court. Murrah High School coach Marlon Dorsey says he did paddle the students, but he did it to "save these young men from the destruction of self," CNN reports. One of the beatings was captured on video.
