Candidate apologizes for hair cut incident
(NEWSER) - Mitt Romney offered an apology of sorts this morning for the forcible haircut he allegedly gave a classmate in high school. "Back in high school, I did some dumb things, and if anybody was hurt by that or offended, obviously I apologize," he said in a hastily arranged radio interview, according to the Washington Post . "I participated in lots of hijinks and pranks … and some might have gone too far." He added that in that incident, and another in which he allegedly yelled "Atta girl!" at a closeted student during class, "the people didn't come out of the closet until years later." More»
