The F-22 Raptor went down during a test mission, and it wasn't immediately clear if the 49-year-old pilot ejected; no word yet on the cause of the accident. Group says it will post video about ‘missing’ airman declared dead

(NEWSER) - An Iraqi group linked to al-Qaeda says it will release video about an Air Force pilot the US declared dead last year, Reuters reports. The group's statement termed the airman “missing,” and was accompanied by an image of Troy Gilbert’s military ID. Woman was kidnapped, tortured and sexually assaulted

(NEWSER) - Six people were arrested in a grisly kidnapping and assault case in rural West Virginia, and two others are still wanted. Police say an internet acquaintance delivered 23-year-old Meghan Williams to her assailants, who held her captive for at least a week, while stabbing, burning, and sexually assaulting her. “It’s something you’d see in a horror movie,” the county prosecutor said.
