(NEWSER) - The good news: Despite the fact that Alec Baldwin went on a Twitter tirade threatening to leave NBC, he is not bowing out of 30 Rock early, Tina Fey assured the ladies of The View today. The bad news? The show, currently in its sixth season, may not be around much longer. "We're all in this together 'til the end," she said. "I think that he just maybe means that the end of the show—we're in six years—that the end of the show is visible on the horizon. We're all still on the show." More»

Tina Fey's show starts new season tonight

(NEWSER) - Tina Fey and crew return tonight with the season premiere of 30 Rock, and critics are worried that the show is losing its edge:

• Todd VanDerWerff, AV Club: "30 Rock is still nowhere near a bad show, but it risks turning into a show where one-dimensional people spend a lot of time shouting at each other."
• Robert Bianco, USA Today: "As funny as this scattershot sitcom can be, the problem remains that show business (and in particular, GE's business) is a topic of limited long-haul mass appeal. ... It had better up its game. And expand it."

(NEWSER) - For once, the latest viral Internet sensation isn’t a crazy video—it’s a crazy theory: 30 Rock is a rip-off of The Muppet Show.
