(NEWSER) - The Florida teen accused of killing his parents with a hammer before throwing a party told his best friend that he was possessed by the devil and had taken three ecstasy pills before the murder. The friend says Tyler Hadley, 17, confessed to the killings and showed him the bodies after the last guests had left, the New York Daily News reports. "I opened the door," says the friend. "I saw bloody sheets piled everywhere. I looked down and I saw his dad's leg there." The friend tipped off police, who found the bodies in the home's master bedroom under a pile of furniture. More»

(NEWSER) - An Iraqi immigrant accused of killing his daughter because he felt she had become too Westernized has been found guilty of her murder. Faleh Almaleki ran over his daughter and her fiance's mother in a parking lot in a Phoenix suburb in 2009 and then fled the scene, leaving both women with serious injuries. (NEWSER) - A sad new twist in the case of a California couple that was murdered last year: Warrants show their 9-year-old boy hid behind a couch during stabbing. The child apparently ran to get his mother's purse to appease the attacker, but hid in the living room after hearing his mother scream, reports the AP . Joshua Graham Packer, 20, was arrested in April for the murder of the child's parents, Brock and Davina Husted, both 42, and their unborn child. More»
