"We don't plan on taking it," an MSNBC spokesman says, and a CNN spokesman says much the same. (NEWSER) - A phony People magazine on which Taylor Lautner supposedly comes out of the closet is a fake, but it fooled plenty of people as it spread around the Internet, Gossip Cop reports. "Tired of rumors, the Twilight star opens up about his decision to finally come out,” reads the cover, which the magazine has confirmed is a fake. Wanted alive: Rocker quashes death rumors

(NEWSER) - Jon Bon Jovi wants his fans to know that, contrary to rumors sweeping the Internet, he hasn't gone out in a blaze of glory. A news blog printed a fake report of the rocker's death which quickly spread across Facebook and Twitter, E! Online reports. When Bon Jovi learned of the rumors, he was with photographer friend David Bergman, who tweeted a photo of the rock star in front of a Christmas tree, holding up a bit of paper with the date and the message: "Heaven looks a lot like New Jersey." Lawrence O'Donnell gets more viewers in key demographic

(NEWSER) - Keith Olbermann's new Countdown debut didn’t exactly come with a ratings blastoff. Current TV hasn’t announced the complete numbers for Monday's show, but it said the program managed 179,000 viewers in the all-important 25-to-54 demographic advertisers crave. Current is happy with the rating, but Mediaite notes that it’s a fair step below the 237,000 Lawrence O’Donnell scored in Olbermann’s old slot on MSNBC. More»
