Accompanied by a German couple and two curly-headed tots, "She seemed alienated and completely different to her family," says the Gibraltar woman whose report was ignored at the time. She notes that the following day the girl was still wearing the same clothes; others tell police that the German couple had paid extra for showing up with an extra child.
