(NEWSER) - Two Muslim teenagers have been busted for spraying black burkas on images of hot women in ads. They told a judge in their recent London court appearance that it's a "sin" for women to dress provocatively, and that they were "just trying to do good," reports the Daily Mail. They painted over a gigantic-bosomed "angel" on a Lynx deodorant ad, and defaced a poster for Nicolas Cage's new film Drive Angry, among others. They gave "full and frank" confessions when they were nabbed after members of the public phoned police. They admitted to six counts of criminal damage, and were fined $450 each and released on a 12-month conditional discharge. Canary Islands attack appears to be random

(NEWSER) - A truly horrifying story out of the Canary Islands: A man emerged from a supermarket there yesterday morning holding a human head. The suspect, a homeless Bulgarian man with a police record identified as Deyan Valentinov, apparently beheaded a British woman in a random attack on the Spanish resort island of Tenerife. Valentinov was captured by security guards after he ran out of the supermarket and arrested. He is believed to have entered the shop and stolen a knife that he then used to assault the woman, whose identity hasn't been released. More»

Muzzammil Hassan, the Pakistan-born owner of Buffalo's Bridges TV, will be sentenced to 25 years to life for killing his wife with two hunting knives 6 days after she filed for divorce, the Guardian reports.
