Genevieve Sabourin arrested at actor's home

(NEWSER) - Alec Baldwin met Canadian actress Genevieve Sabourin back in 2002 while filming The Adventures of Pluto Nash, on which she was working as a publicist, and apparently he made such an impression on her that she's been stalking him ever since. Sabourin, 40, was arrested yesterday at Baldwin's New York home, the Daily News reports; she had reportedly also followed him to various places around the city and shown up at his home in the Hamptons in the past. Baldwin joins these other stalked celebs:

• Madonna: The Material Girl has had more than her fair share of stalkers. One, Robert Dewey Hoskins, escaped from the mental health facility where he was being held in February. Fortunately, cops found him a week later.
• Dr. Drew: The celebrity physician had a particularly creepy stalker, who was arrested after threatening to kill the doctor's kids and force his wife to eat them.
• David Letterman: His stalker referred to herself as "Mrs. David Letterman," and was arrested after breaking into his home a minimum of seven times. (Oddly, another woman accused Letterman of stalking her … via code.)

Gymnast Johnson, 17, may earn $365K from reality show contest

(NEWSER) - Shawn Johnson could rake in a bundle if she succeeds as a reality star, TMZ reports. The Dancing with the Stars contestant, whose contract to appear on the show had to be approved by a judge because she’s a minor, made $125,000 just for being a contestant. Hearing set for next month

(NEWSER) - The man accused of stalking Olympic gymnast Shawn Johnson pleaded not guilty to all charges yesterday, E! reports. In addition to his felony stalking charge, Robert O’Ryan, 34, is charged with two misdemeanor counts of carrying a loaded firearm. He is being held on $220,000 bail, and his preliminary hearing is April 27. Johnson was back in Dancing With the Stars rehearsals hours after the arraignment, TMZ adds, bodyguard in tow. More»

Guns, duct tape, love letters found in crazed fan's car

(NEWSER) - A man obsessed with Shawn Johnson has been arrested after jumping a fence in a bid to get on the set of Dancing With the Stars, People reports. Two loaded guns, duct tape, love letters and memorabilia featuring the 17-year-old Olympic gymnast were found in the man's car after he was stopped by security guards who found him roaming studio grounds. Liukin takes gold, Johnson silver to China's bronze

(NEWSER) - Americans Nastia Liukin and Shawn Johnson captured the gold and silver medals in the women’s gymnastics all-around competitions, marking the first time US gymnasts have taken the top two spots, USA Today reports.
