American Apparel wants to prove director's endorsement not worth $10M

(NEWSER) - Woody Allen asked a judge yesterday to stop American Apparel from airing his dirty laundry in court, the AP reports. Allen, who is suing the clothing company for $10 million for using his image on billboards without permission, wants to block American Apparel’s summoning of ex Mia Farrow, his wife (and Farrow daughter) Soon-Yi Previn, and others. But awards were handed out too, and The Artist and The Descendants were the big film winners. Both won best picture and best actor in their respective categories (comedy or musical for the former, drama for the latter), and The Artist also won best original score. Actress recalls romance in upcoming memoir
