Hillary sends her own for parody blog

(NEWSER) - The "Texts from Hillary" blog just got some text from Hillary. The Tumblr blog has garnered much attention for its meme series featuring fake texts from Clinton, playing off a wire photo of her with her Blackberry. Now the secretary herself is in on the joke. She posted one of her own on the blog: "ROFL @ ur tumblr! g2g—scrunchie time. ttyl?" The post, which also compliments one of the bloggers on his phone self-portrait, or "selfie," has been a Twitter sensation, the Washington Post reports. More»

She reiterates she doesn't want second term at State

(NEWSER) - Doesn't sound like Hillary Clinton is having second thoughts about stepping down as secretary of state if President Obama wins a second term. “I’ve made it clear that I will certainly stay on until the president nominates someone and that transition can occur,” she told State Department staffers today, according to Bloomberg . "But I think after 20 years, and it will be 20 years, of being on the high wire of American politics and all of the challenges that come with that, it would be probably a good idea to just find out how tired I am." Landmark visit to be first in more than 50 years

(NEWSER) - Hillary Clinton arrived in Burma’s capital of Naypyidaw today, kicking off the first visit by a US secretary of state to the country in more than 50 years.
