(NEWSER) - Up-and-coming Atlanta-based rapper Dolla was shot dead in the parking garage of LA's Beverly Center mall yesterday, the Los Angeles Times reports. The 21-year-old musician, shot in the head, had arrived in the city earlier that day. A suspect fled the scene in a silver Mercedes and was later arrested, still armed with a gun, in the ticketing area of Los Angeles International Airport, officials said. (NEWSER) - New Orleans rapper Corey "C-Murder" Miller has been found guilty of murdering a 16-year-old fan, the Times-Picayune reports. The teen was shot during a nightclub brawl in 2002. The rapper—who changed his stage name to C-Miller after the incident—was convicted of the killing in 2003 but a mistrial was later declared.
