Order covers hundreds of thousands of Jeeps, minivans

(AP) - Chrysler is recalling almost 600,000 minivans and Jeep Wranglers in the US and another 100,000 elsewhere because of brake or wiring problems that could create safety issues, the company and federal regulators said today. The move may anger two key shareholders of the restructured automaker—the US government and the United Auto Workers. (AP) - The Supreme Court has cleared the way for Chrysler's sale to Fiat, turning down a last-ditch bid by opponents of the deal.
