(NEWSER) - Don't mess with a wound-up teen obsessed with a car. A Florida high school honors student accepted into Ivy League schools pistol-whipped her mom when the mother refused to sign a car loan for her, according to cops. Rachel Hachero, 17, called her mom from a Fort Myers car dealership and ordered her to come to sign a loan. When her mom refused, Rachel threatened to kill her, the mother told investigators. Later, when the teen arrived home she struck her mother with a stolen pistol, then held it to her head to force her back to the dealership, where the mom promptly signed the loan, said police. More»
