After alleged bank break-in, actor due back in court Feb. 17
(NEWSER) - Rip Torn appeared in court in Connecticut today to face charges related to an alleged bank break-in Friday evening and was released on $100,000 bond. The 78-year-old actor will enter alcohol rehab as soon as possible, his lawyer said. The numerous charges against him include burglary, trespassing, and carrying a firearm while intoxicated. His lawyer acknowledged Torn had a loaded .22 revolver in his pocket but said it was "never brandished," reports the Register Citizen of Litchfield County. More»
