(NEWSER) - Police are probing inconsistencies in a California mother's story of her daughter's abduction after the toddler's body was found in a ditch off a freeway, reports the Los Angeles Times. Stacy Barker, 20, said she was knocked unconscious in a Los Angeles area park by attackers who snatched 18-month-old Emma Leigh. She later indicated the girl's death was an accident. More»
