Ax-wielding male thieves made off with cash, jewelry

(NEWSER) - British police are investigating three robberies in which men covered in burkas stole hundreds of thousands of dollars in cash and jewelry. In separate incidents, the men burst into travel agency and jeweler shops, threatening employees with a knife, a gun, and even an ax, reports the Independent. Authorities use DNA evidence to find Graff jewelry suspects

Robber kept firing after being stabbed in neck

(NEWSER) - A restaurant worker who tried to foil an armed robbery at a Los Angeles meat market is clinging to life after being shot in the head. After a cashier at the market fled to the restaurant next door, two workers confronted the robber.
