Seth MacFarlane will update 1960s classic

(NEWSER) - Fred and Wilma meet Peter and Lois? Sorta. Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane is taking a stab at reinventing The Flintstones, Fox television announced yesterday. Work will begin on the 21st-century version of the classic cartoon this fall, and the animated series will likely air in 2013. Though MacFarlane will give the 1960s show a modern-day spin, the Los Angeles Times reports it will still be about the Flintstones and the Rubbles living in dinosaur-era Bedrock. A new biography by Darwin Porter alleges Bogart slept with 1,000 women before marrying Bacall in 1945, but began to fear he was gay when he became impotent during his second marriage to Mary Philips, the Daily Mail reports.
