Road-trip serial killers exploit 'mobile crime scene,' says FBI
(NEWSER) - The FBI believes that hundreds of hitchhikers, prostitutes, and stranded motorists have been murdered by serial killers working as long-haul truckers, reports the Los Angeles Times. Some 500 women have been murdered over the last 3 decades and their bodies discarded along highways, and at rest stops and motels frequented by truckers who criss-cross the nation.
