(NEWSER) - The White House is not-so-subtly telling Yemen's embattled president to hit the road, with top counterterror adviser John Brennan telling Ali Abdullah Saleh yesterday to “fulfill expeditiously” his pledge to step down. Brennan “called upon” Saleh “to sign the GCC-brokered agreement for peaceful and Constitutional political transition in Yemen,” according to a White House statement. (NEWSER) - Glenn Beck can't seem to get much traction on his upcoming political rally in Israel. So far, not a single leading GOP presidential candidate has expressed interest in attending the pro-Israel demonstration organized by the ousted Fox mega-mouth. As of now only former Democratic vice presidential contender Joseph Lieberman and long-shot Republican candidate Herman Cain plan to participate, reports the Washington Post . (NEWSER) - Glenn Beck is considering following in Oprah Winfrey's footsteps and starting his own channel, sources tell the New York Times . Beck's contract at Fox is up at the end of the year. With the network rumored to be considering dropping him , Beck is looking into taking over all or part of a cable channel, or expanding his subscription Internet video service, according to the sources, who say Beck has been mulling the move for more than a year. (NEWSER) - The argument against the Park51 project—the so-called Ground Zero mosque—hinges on the idea that an Islamic symbol near the site of the 9/11 attacks is offensive to the families of the victims. One of the loudest voices opposing the project has been Glenn Beck, writes Cenk Uygur for the Huffington Post , but the Fox talking head has also been tremendously offensive to the victims' families.
