Lawsuit: University should have done more to protect murder victim

(NEWSER) - Yale University could have, and should have, done more to protect Annie Le and other women on campus, Le’s family claims in a lawsuit filed yesterday. The family is suing for wrongful death over the murder of Le, who was killed by a co-worker at a campus lab in 2009. Yale has “long taken inadequate steps to ensure the safety and security of women on its campus,” the family’s attorneys said in a statement, according to the Hartford Courant . Raymond Clark is engaged to live-in girlfriend Jennifer Hromadka

(NEWSER) - Raymond Clark, the lab tech "person of interest" who was picked up by police last night in connection with Yale grad student Annie Le’s murder, was released this morning after DNA samples were taken, CNN reports. Clark shares his apartment with the girlfriend he is engaged to marry in December 2011, the Hartford Courant reports. (NEWSER) - Though her fiancee is in jail awaiting trial for the brutal murder of a Yale grad student , Jennifer Hromadka still visits Raymond Clark every few days, the AP reports. Hromadka visited Clark four times in the first half of January and nine times each in November and December, a Freedom of Information act request revealed.
