(NEWSER) - What will David Letterman be doing in two years? No one knows, but one thing he apparently won't be doing: hosting the Late Show. He let that little tidbit slip casually while interviewing Howard Stern last night. The clip in the gallery ends, of course, just before the comment, but Splitsider reports that later in the interview Letterman tells Stern he'll only do the Late Show for two more years. Late Show host calls infidelity 'stupid behavior'

(NEWSER) - David Letterman is dead set on repairing his marriage after the infidelity that led to an extortion attempt last year, People reports. Appearing on Live! With Regis and Kelly, Letterman likened the events of last year to "an explosion," saying, "You're looking at the shards and you say, 'Well, can we put this back together?' And by God, maybe you can put it back together. And maybe it won't be the same, but maybe it will be different, and maybe it can even be better in a different way." More»

The good doctor asks about late night wars and gets an earful

(NEWSER) - Leave it to Dr. Phil to get David Letterman to really open up about Jay Leno. The TV doc asked the Late Show host about the latest round of late night wars, and Letterman took it all the way back to 1975, when he and Leno first met. “He’s so engaging, so compelling, you can’t not love him,” Letterman said. “But then there’s also this other side of him, and I think he would own up to it, he’s just a complete boob.
