(NEWSER) - Kirk Cameron isn't backing down from his recent comments that homosexuality is "destructive" to civilization, and it turns out he has a bit of company in Hollywood. The Huffington Post rounds up 14 other celebrities who've been slammed for making anti-gay comments—only some of whom apologized:

• Mel Gibson: He gave an interview to a Spanish newspaper in 1991, in which he commented on gay men. "They take it up the a** ... this is only for taking a s***," he said. "With this look, who's going to think I'm gay? Do I look like a homosexual? Do I talk like them? Do I move like them?"
• Cee Lo Green: When The Voice got a bad review from a music editor, the singer and co-host tweeted in response, "I'm guessing you're gay? And my masculinity offended you? Well f--k you!" His attempt at an apology included the line, "What was homophobic about that?"
