Newsom's decision makes Jerry Brown virtual lock for Dem nod
(NEWSER) - Citing his responsibilities as San Francisco mayor and as a new father, Democrat Gavin Newsom withdrew today from the race to succeed Arnold Schwarzenegger as California governor.
