Defense team will seek delay
(NEWSER) - The man accused of killing 13 people at Fort Hood , Nidal Hasan , will make his first court appearance today in a preliminary hearing. His lawyers will seek to delay an Article 32 hearing that will determine if his case should go to trial, reports the AP . The army has already delivered 2000 pages of documents to Hasan's legal team and there is more evidence—including emails between the suspect and a Yemeni-American cleric—on the way, notes CNN . Hasan, who was paralyzed during the spree, has yet to undergo a psychiatric evaluation. More»
