(NEWSER) - The tweet was misspelled but easy to understand: "Juat married," Sean "Diddy" Combs announced to his Twitter followers at 3:30 this morning. Within 2 hours, the entertainer had changed his tune to "No I didn't get married !!!!! Pls stop asking!!!" But St. Bart's has been crawling with the rap/fashion mogul's high-profile friends, and rumors have been rife that he and long-suffering galpal Kimberly Porter were engaged, the New York Daily News reports. (NEWSER) - Tom Cruise promotes his upcoming musical Rock of Ages in the latest issue of Playboy , but not surprisingly, the movie talk isn’t getting quite as much attention as the quotes about Cruise’s personal life. Some highlights:

• On plastic surgery: "I haven't [gotten any], and I never would."
• On his PR nightmare: Asked what he learned from his controversial interview with Matt Lauer (in which he disparaged psychiatry and prescription drugs for post-partum depression) and his Oprah couch fiasco, Cruise replied, “When I go back and look at it, I find myself thinking, I don’t feel that way. I get how it came across, but I don’t feel that way, and I never have. Telling people how to live their lives? I saw how that came across and how pieces were edited.”

The black tie event will be held at the Playboy Mansion, and for $50,000 you'll get two cabanas with free bottle service and 15 female model attendants for up to 20 people—in addition to dinner and an open bar, of course. Apparently she's moved on from A-Rod

(NEWSER) - Today in Unlikely Celebrity Romances: Cameron Diaz and Sean "Diddy" Combs. Yep. The two have apparently known each other for a while (see photo evidence at left), but were caught smooching Saturday night at a New York club. "They were kissing and making out," and danced in a "very affectionate" manner, sources tell the Post . Diaz and Combs, who were also spotted together last month, left the club together around 3am, but reps for both say they're just friends. Diaz split with Alex Rodriguez in September. More»

Keith Elam of Gang Starr was also celebrated solo artist

(NEWSER) - Keith Elam, who performed as Guru with the high-profile hip-hop duo Gang Starr, died yesterday. He was 43 and had been battling cancer. Although Guru was from Boston and partner DJ Premier from Houston, Gang Starr played a high-profile role on the New York underground rap scene of the '90s. Guru recorded with Gang Starr from its founding in 1987 into the 2000s even as he established a solo career with his Jazzmatazz series of albums, MTV reports. More»
