HBO debuted its first teaser trailer for Game Change, the film due in March that's based on the Mark Halperin-John Heilemann book about the 2008 presidential election. Her 'war room' feared disclosure at any time

(NEWSER) - Harry Reid's comment about candidate Obama not having a "Negro dialect" is grabbing the headlines today, but an upcoming book on the 2008 election has other salacious tidbits. Marc Ambinder got an advance copy of Game Change and has highlights at the Atlantic :

• Bill Clinton was involved in a long-term affair, and Hillary's campaign set up a "war room within a war room" to deal with the feared disclosure and all problems related to Bill's "libido." The book doesn't identify the woman.

Game Change strikes without comment from Clinton machine

(NEWSER) - The vaunted Clinton Machine has been notably silent since the release of Game Change, a damning sign that the sources that so savage Bill and Hillary in the book are indeed former staffers and loyalists. Ben Smith of Politico emailed many of the senior aides referred to in the book, and drew no contradictions, with many offering tepid statements of support and saying they hadn’t read the book. More»
