Co-founder axes images, complaints erupt

(NEWSER) - Wikipedia's founders are battling against contributor objections to ax images they believe are pornographic from Wiki sites. Wikimedia Commons, a media file used by Wikipedia, last week deleted hundreds of images after co-founder Jimmy Wales said many of them appealed "solely to prurient interests." The action followed estranged Wiki co-founder Larry Spanger's complaints to the FBI that Wikimedia was "knowingly distributing child pornography," reports the BBC . Hunter Moore boasted he 'ruined lives'

(NEWSER) - Federal officials are investigating the founder of a "revenge porn" website on which spurned spouses and lovers posted naked photos of former partners, according to ABC News . Hunter Moore, 26, admitted to Nightline that he started the site, called IsAnyoneUp.com, which he designed as a place for "public humiliation" where users could upload sexually explicit photos of others without their permission. He boasted he was a "professional life ruiner." More»

Court Clerk Watches Porn During Rape Trial

He said he was 'bored'

(NEWSER) - A "bored" London court clerk was busted after looking at hardcore bondage pornography in the middle of a British rape trial. The judge spotted the photos on the clerk's computer as he peered over his bench while the victim described her horrific attack. When the judge "noticed what was taking place, he initially hoped that he had been mistaken or the behavior would desist," according to court records. It didn't. Police found several similar images and kiddie porn on the clerk's work and home computer, reports the Daily Mail . He told the court he "only looked at porn if the case was boring." More»

On Tuesday the FBI arrested 31-year-old Luis Mijangos, accusing him of hacking into more than 100 computers via malware disguised as popular songs, and searching them for amateur porn.
