Exhibit to focus on the technology that made miracle possible

(NEWSER) - More than two years after Chesley Sullenberger crash-landed his plane into the icy waters off New York City, the Airbus A320 dubbed "The Miracle on the Hudson" is going on display at a North Carolina museum, reports the AP . The plane has been sitting in a northern New Jersey warehouse since the January 2009 crash, largely unchanged, with unused life jackets still wrapped in plastic, and food and beverages waiting to be served in the back. Miracle on Hudson pilot says he'll remain a safety advocate

(NEWSER) - Hero pilot Chesley “Sully” Sullenberger, who safely landed his US Airways jet in the Hudson River last year, is retiring after a final flight today. The captain, 59, says he “will continue to serve as the same kind of advocate I have always been—not only for aviation safety, but for the airline piloting profession,” and continue to remind the industry and regulators of the “sacred duty” pilots have to their passengers.
