(NEWSER) - Haiti's voodoo priests are objecting to anonymous mass burials of earthquake victims, raising fears that such desecration could result in restless souls of the dead returning as zombies. "It it not in our culture to bury people in such a fashion," Haiti's main voodoo leader, Max Beauvoir, told Haiti President Rene Preval in a meeting. (NEWSER) - President Obama reaffirmed his commitment to relief in Haiti, telling the survivors of the massive earthquake "that we will do what it takes to save lives and help people get back on their feet." Obama spoke this afternoon—his third public statement in as many days—following a phone conversation with Rene Preval, Haiti's president.
